It was as if she left the homework for readers. The manner in which Christie writes about older people too, I suppose indicative of her own era, implies that old old people are at least slightly mad, just by virtue of being old and no one can expect them to be normal. Certainly Ada had the wits about her, which her great nephew had not the least idea. It doesn’t make sense! It is one of the novels which I return to periodically because I find christle the novel continues to provide a certain amount of entertainment. The couple discover dark and evil secrets that lead the reader to flip the pages. Sometimes I think she was just terribly te and neurotic. Nothing give me more comfort than reading an Agatha Christie book while traveling.
