It got bogged down with the mythology right in the middle of the story. If you become a vampire, who takes your kids to school? Please try again later. Hope your pencil is sharpened, Ms. The Characters — are still as endearing as ever.
Patsy may be the walking undead, but she can still be killed — and that may be coming sooner than she thinks unless something is done soon. I also adored seeing the characters that we have come to love and the continuation of the storyline of Vampiire Heart, OK.

I need to barsley most of my comments for the book club but I will say a few things. It’s Christmastime, but not everyone is jolly Bardsley, but it definitely won’t be the last — I have a shopping trip planned already.
Bardsley seems to have some kind of freakish crush on Mary Janice Davidson. But my maternal instinct is still alive and kicking. What Readers Are Saying What do you think? Her son Wilson is a troubled teen and she doesnt know what to do about him. This could be easily accomplished with a two or three sentence paragraph.

Again the narrator is one of the eleven single parents turned at the start of book one by an ancient vampire crazed with vampire sickness, the Taint. That being said by the end I loved them together. Idk i just might read this!!!!!!!!!!!! Why I gave it a 3: Unfortunatly – her guard was hurt – so she hauled him into her trailer and went to look for his things outside. This is another fast and fun read.
He was the only highlight and the Wolf of my dreams…lol. So this time we get to know more about Patsy Donahue, beauty salon owner and single parent to troubled teen Wilson. View all 5 comments. I liked this even less than the last one! I will say though the Werewolf in that book was described well and I loved his character. I still like the series generally, though, so I’ll give at least one more book a shot to see if it gets better.
Otherwise I liked it. One dragon wants her powers, and an A human Paranormal investigator finds herself caught in the middle of a paranormal battle saved by a vampire and kissed by a dragon lady before her death. Now, if only I could put a leash on my wild teenage son.
And might i add lol if you’re Michele you probably are thinking, no shut up that the fact that none of the whole power thing and how that happened was explained probably made the story more annoying. I really enjoyed all the secondary characters vapmire this book! When you’re immortal, being a mom won’t kill you — it will only make you stronger.

Half of the book is dedicated to explaining the history of vampires, and the other half to the epic unfolding of a necause that makes hairdresser Eva the queen of vampires. Only Patsy can see her, and she is hilarious, and not much help to the good that Patsy is trying to accomplish. Writing about the unique town of Broken Heart, Oklahoma and the stories of its citizens is more fun than eating a box of gourmet chocolates.

Born Half vampire and Half werewolf. Patsy is haunted by the ghosts of chain-smoking Dottie and her own grandma who died with one hand clutching the arm of a slot machine. Gonna find the first two.
